This is a horrible restaurant. I was served half-cooked rigatoni and pointed this out to the waiter. He impudently replied that all of the pasta was cooked `al dente` and that it was my responsibility to make a special request to have it cooked any other way. I pointed out that I was Italian and never ate pasta except al dente, and I knew half-cooked pasta, which wasn't just hard but tasted like cardboard. His reaction was to go back to the kitchen and make fun of my `knowledge` of food so that the whole restaurant could hear. I believe that the proper resoponse to a cutomer complaint, even if it is wrong, is to be diplomatic. In this case the waiter had no manners at all and gave no credit whatsoever to the possibility that I was right. I hope this place goes out of business since it doesn't have the right to charge for this kind of experience.
